Drafting using Architecture Tools
Manual Drafting /Architecture
Learn to draft using tools of the trade. Focus on standards of architectural design elements. Draw a simple floor plan of a room. Practice problem solving with basic math -- including adding and subtracting with fractions -- as you draw floor plans. Collaborate and communicate in professional workgroups to complete tasks. Present your work in a professional manner to real-world audiences. Build your confidence and uncover a clear understanding of how architectural design begins.
Days: Tuesday & Thursday
Time: 2:00 pm -4:00 pm
Drafting using Materials & Finishes
Manual Drafting Interior Design
Learn to choose materials and finishes for residential and commercial spaces. Plan spaces using manual drafting. Create interior elevations. Model your space using material samples. Learn about function and form, lighting, rendering and how to create one point perspective drawings. Collaborate and communicate in professional workgroups to complete tasks. Present your work in a professional manner to real-world audiences. Understand how interior design helps bring our living spaces together.
Cake
Decorating
Trendy Cake Designs
Days: Monday & Wednesday
Time: 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Engineering
Drafting & Design
Days: Monday & Wednesday
Time: 11:00 am - 1:30 pm
Drafting using Engineering Tools
Mechanical Drafting I
This class will demonstrate how to draft manually using engineering drafting tools. Students will demonstrate how to apply the rules of orthographic projection to create multi-view drawings. Basic math and problem solving will be acquired throughout this workshop. Students will be challenged to read and understand the language of engineers as it relates to detailed technical drawings of machinery or mechanical devices produced by engineers. Teamwork and collaborating with one another will help each student advance to the next level of design and build. Students will experience real world applications with each design problem.
Robotics
Lego Spike Prime
Days: Monday & Wednesday
Time: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Drafting using Engineering Tools
Designing and Building Robots
Learn and apply engineering design skills. Define a problem. choose success criteria. Make and test prototypes. Analyze solutions. In each lesson tackle a new problem scenario. Make robots move without wheels. Create customized grabbers. Explore and create robotic prosthetics and more.
Computer Science
Programming
Days: Tuesday & Thursday
Time: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Exploring VEX IQ Robotics Systems
Exploring VEX IQ Robotics Systems
Continue exploring the world of engineering and robotics but now let's add some more programming, some more autonomy and some sensors to detect the world around us using the VEX IQ robotics system. Develop solutions that use more complex code and sensor input to have their robots react to the world around them. Some tasks will include autonomous navigation, vision tracking, warehouse operations and package delivery.
Musical Theater
Stage Performance
Days: Monday thru Thursday
Time: 9:00 am -11:00 am
Performing Arts
Performing Arts
This class is for students who want to perform on stage. Students will be required to audition for the role they want to perform. Students will collaborate with their peers and practice daily for the final performance of a musical show. Because of the amount of work required to put on a musical show students will need to practice their lines, dance or song for homework. This class will help build confidence and performance stage knowledge.
